Keep Tempe Different - Mark Mitchell for Tempe Mayor 2012

A Different Place. That's our community. That's Tempe. Throughout its history, Tempe has seized opportunities...overcome challenges...and become that jewel of a place in the desert. It didn't just happen. It took hard work...a deep commitment...and leadership. Mark Mitchell has been that kind of leader. As a Tempe Native, a small businessman, and a three-term member of the City Council, Mark Mitchell continues to fulfill his family's commitment to serving Tempe, instilled in him by his father, former Tempe Councilman, Mayor, and Congressman, Harry Mitchell. Mark Mitchell is recognized as a collaborative leader that knows that regional cooperation is key to Tempe's future, by community leaders here in Tempe and across the state. The Arizona Republic endorses Mark Mitchell, saying, "Tempe can only move forward if it has a mayor who understands and can play up those connections. Mark Mitchell is best positioned to do so." Mark's support doesn't stop there. From small business owners Gayle Shanks and Jim Scussel to former City council member Barb Carter and from our friends at the Professional Firefighters of Arizona, and to our neighbors at the Arizona Police Association. On May 15th, we'll have an opportunity to keep our community that different kind of place. For us. And for the generation that follow. Mark Mitchell for Mayor. Proven leadership and experience...to keep Tempe different
