Bre Macha was outstanding in the circle on Thursday, striking out 10, giving up only 3 hits and no runs.

In the first inning, Red Mountain's Alex Wiley got hit by a pitch from Tamara Statman, then Macha hit the next pitch over the left field fence for a two run homerun. The next batter, Jordan Beck was hit by a pitch, was run for by Kyla VanBeekum, who then scored on Ashley Hill's RBI single. Savannah Kirkpatrick had a sacrifice fly and a single and Tabitha Shupe added another single. Beck also had a double and an RBI later in the game. The Mountain Lions scored 3 runs in the first, 2 runs in the second and 1 run in the fourth, which was too much for the Huskies to handle.
