Alex Wiley had a great day at the plate and on the mound to lead Red Mountain. She went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, a home run and 5 RBIs; while Lindsay Steverson added two hits and 3 RBIs; Kenzy Gutierrez had 2 hits and 2 RBIs and Tori Sotelo also had 2 hits.

Alex Wiley had a perfect game for 4 and 2/3 innings, striking out eight, until Coach Hamilton committed a Cardinal sin of baseball and spoke about it too soon. Two pitches later, it was wrecked by a Chavez hitter's single to right. Alex proceeded to strike out the next batter to end the game.

The Mountain Lions next game will be Wednesday night, April 9, at home against the Desert Mountain Wolves at 6:00 pm.
