The Matadors trailed by only three heading into the final minute of the first half. But the Huskies never looked back after the two scores.
The first came on a 26-yard pass from senior Dax Crum to receiver Ryan Dennehy. Then Stefan Demos booted a 51-yard field goal after the Huskies had recovered an onside kick.
Crum led the air attack, finishing the contest with 280 passing yards. Oscar Alvarez rushed for 87 yards.
