The Arcadia girls soccer team survived a resilient defensive effort by South Mountain and scored the match's only goal with 1:16 left in the second overtime session for a 1-0 Titans' victory on Wednesday.
Arcadia senior Spencer Smith finally knocked in the game-winner after a cross from senior Nicole Fisk was headed to the back post by sophomore Megan Hawkins.
Arcadia remains undefeated in Div. II power rankings matches this season.
The host-Jaguars withstood a nearly constant barrage of shots in the second half and first overtime session, but the Titans stymied by South Mountain goalkeeping, the crossbar and both posts. Arcadia improves its regular season record to 7-0, while South Mountain drops to 3-2-2.
