Arias commits to Air Force

Senior middle linebacker Austin Arias is the second member of Centennial’s class of 2010 to commit to playing Division 1 football next year.

According to scout.com’s 24-7 football, Arias committed Tuesday to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Last year, Arias committed to play at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, however, he withdrew his commitment when coach Mike Sanford was fired in November.

Arias is one of eight Coyotes who drew interest from major colleges. Offensive guard Nick Rowland committed to play at the University of Oregon in November.

Rowland will play for Team USA later this month month against top young European players in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
