Tribune softball rankings as of 3/19:

Division I

1. Basha

2. Gilbert

3. Red Mountain

4. Desert Mountain

5. Xavier

6. Mountain View

7. Chandler

8. Horizon

9. Corona del Sol

10. Centennial

Not much changes in the rankings with most schools on Spring Break last week and/or this week. Xavier continues to play well in winning its own tournament and knocking off newly-entered Peoria Centennial in the process, plus a win against Horizon last week. Centennial enters the rankings after Vail Cienega slips out from losing to Tucson Sunnyside last week. Sunnyside, Sierra Vista Buena and even Highland could make a claim for that 10th spot.

Division II

1. Canyon del Oro

2. Sunrise Mountain

3. Sabino

4. Ironwood Ridge

5. Salpointe Catholic

6. Sahuaro

7. Notre Dame

8. Casa Grande

9. Saguaro

10. Desert Edge

A couple minor shuffles in Div. II, where, again, most teams are on spring break last week and/or this week, and either playing tournaments or not at all. Sahuaro lost to Sabino, 2-0, last week and slips a couple spots, while Paradise Valley falls out (for now) after losing a tight one to Notre Dame (4-3). The Trojans could easily return, but Desert Edge gets a slight nod over Phoenix Washington for the 10th spot. Desert Edge lost to the top team in Div. III in Estrella Foothills, but they beat Washington head-to-head a couple weeks ago.

Division III

1. Estrella Foothills

2. Winslow

3. Mingus

4. Benson

5. Bourgade Catholic

No changes in Div. III as everyone either won or didn't play. Estrella Foothills strengthened its grip at No. 1 by beating a solid Div. III team in Desert Edge. Couple big games this week for Benson (vs. Willcox on Tuesday followed by Safford on Wednesday). Bourgade Catholic also faces Div. IV Northwest Christian on Friday.

Division IV

1. Pusch Ridge Christian

2. NW Christian

3. St. David

4. Bagdad

5. Mogollon

Mogollon falls a spot to No. 5 after losing to Round Valley last week, but no Div. IV have stood out in the past week or two to warrant pushing Mogollon out of the rankings, at least for now.
