Corona del Sol football coach Zane Zamenski has been “assigned to home” by the Tempe Union High School District while allegations of inappropriate comments toward players are being investigated, according to a district spokesperson.
The spokesperson said the investigation is ongoing but wasn’t sure of a timetable for its conclusion. Zamenski’s assistants are handling all football-related issues in the interim.
Both Zamenski and district athletic director Dr. Ken Salas didn’t immediately return phone calls seeking comment. Aztecs athletic director Dan Nero declined comment.
After two seasons at Phoenix South Mountain, Zamenski was hired by Corona del Sol in February to replace the retired Gary Venturo.

So what was actually said? I have to say that the admin at Corona really messed up with this hire. They had 2 first rate choices that were already on campus and that the students loved and supported. Cory Nenaber and Ken Olson. When Mr. Denton and Mrs. Denny left, this school went down hill fast.

The principal's husband's friend is hired as head coach. Why is it, that a former NFL player, College Football Coach, first class teacher of Excercise Physiology at Corona, and Football Coach at Corona for 15 years now was not given the position in the first place??? Mr. Olson is highly qualified and respected by his students and players. Shame on the principal. The students should come first.

Oh okay so calling players "Chinaman", "Ragheads",
"A**Ho*es", "Pric*ks", "$h*theads". Screaming the F word literally every other word, making every motivational speech sexually oriented, lying in your interview about where you played and coached. On top of that being a horrible negative, demeaning, abusive coach. Getting hired based on the fact that you are friends with the Principal, Susan Edwards husband and he will amazingly be a coach as well. Yeah kid gloves. Get a clue. This guy is poison and has no moral character, redeeming qualities, or business working with students. Don't make stupid comments when you don't know the facts.

Guess the players were use to kid glove, star treatment... It's a hard tough game. Crybaby's are not needed on a football field....
Guess maybe the team wanted to make the stripes rainbow colored?
