Jaron Hopkins scored 32 points and Torren Jones had 19 points and grabbed 18 rebounds as host-Basha defeated Perry, 92-84 on Tuesday.
Ahead by only four points at the half, the Bears used a 29-17 third quarter to pull away from the Pumas and held on through a Perry rally for the win.
Hopkins added nine rebounds and five assists to go with his game-high 32 points Basha improved to 17-3 on the season.
Jordan Howard and Lucas O'Brien each scored 17 points each to pace Perry.
In other boys basketball action, led by Jalen Richard's 26 points, visiting Poston Butte picked up a 62-57 road win against Campo Verde.
The Broncos outscored the Coyotes 21-13 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.
Jimmy Renner led Campo Verde with 13 points.
Tempe's Randy Morton scored a season-high 22 points including three three-point shots, to help carry the Buffalos to a 80-63 over visiting Seton Catholic.
Dequan Hughes recorded his third double-double of the year for Tempe (16-5, 9-3), scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Adam Engelbert scored a game-high 23 points for the Sentinels.

Corona del Sol's Taylor Kalmer led all scorers with 20 points as the Aztecs defeated Marcos de Niza 55-45.
Britney Meadows dropped 12 points to lead the Padres.
