When parents run the program, there is no program. You cannot coach by committee. There is no coach that I am aware of that doesn't want to win. Sometimes parents want to win but only under their circumstances. This is the time when "booster clubs" want to dictate. Administrators with no backbone cave to these "booster clubs" and nothing is accomplished. What many parents fail to see is that they are not going to relive their pasts, including their lack of athletic accomplishments through their kids, and that their kids are not going to get the athletic scholarships they failed to get. There are coaches who are there for their own agenda, this is true, but the majority are people that care about their players, ALL their players and sometimes, parents don't get that
