Higley quarterback Eric Kump threw for four touchdowns and rushed for another, leading the Knights to a 51-14 win versus visiting Phoenix Carl Hayden on Friday.

Kump came out firing, starting the game off by throwing a 55-yard pass to Trent Lagerstrom then following that up with a 44-yard scoring strike to Tristian DaCosta to put Higley up 14-0 early.

After Carl Hayden returned a kickoff for a touchdown, Kump was at it again, this time running the ball in from 2 yards out to give the Knights (1-0) a 21-7 lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
