Address: 1725 E. Bilby Road, Tucson

Records: Mountain View 4-0; Sunnyside

2-2

Outlook: Mountain View tries to tame another 4A-power-turned-5A Division II competitor. The Toros opened the season knocking off 4A semifinalist Peoria Centennial, which has rebounded to win three straight since that loss.

Mountain View has been content to run the ball and play defense in its first four games. The Toros have had such success with that game plan that they are averaging just eight passes per game.

Sunnyside has made a name for itself in recent years under coach Richard Sanchez with a tough, hard-nosed style not unlike Mountain View. Sunnyside’s losses have come to Glendale Mountain Ridge and Basha, two 5A-I schools. The

Blue Devils would like nothing better than to ambush the Toros on their home field after falling short in their previous tries against 5A-I foes.
