Maricopa nearly scored enough touchdowns for every letter in the alphabet Friday night, as players from Duane Alexander to Justin Zabawa found the end zone in a 61-22 2A West Region win over winless Gila Bend on Friday at Gila Bend.

Justin Zabawa was the most frequent visitor to the end zone for the Rams (3-5, 3-2), scoring two running touchdowns and one through the air from brother Joe Zabawa, who tossed three touchdown passes.

Will Clemans caught two of those touchdown passes from Joe Zabawa. Alexander, Matt Fierros, Blake Schwanbeck and Cody Seymore also scored touchdowns in the win.
