Address: 16100 E. Palisades Parkway, Fountain Hills; Records: Fountain Hills 8-2, Monument Valley 5-5; Gametime: 7:00 p.m.
Outlook:
The Falcons fly into the first round riding a four-game winning streak and the luxury of facing the Mustangs, the fourth seed from the North Region, typically the weakest region in 3A.
This Mustangs have allowed 42 points or more in four of five losses.
The Mustangs operate a wideopen passing offense led by quarterback Sean Loy, who has thrown for 1,166 yards and 14 touchdowns. Loy has also thrown 12 interceptions, so turnover opportunities will likely be there for the Falcons.
Monument Valley will need to slow down Falcons fullback HP Rollins, who flew past the 1,000-yard mark last week. Rollins finished the regular season with 1,154 yards and 16 touchdowns.
