Popular Westwood boys basketball coach Paul Wilson resigned.

Wilson spent six years at the school after moving to Arizona from Southern California. He went 66-101 in since he was hired in 2006 after he spent 10 years at La Jolla (Calif.) Country Day.

Westwood was 14-14 this season, the second-best record in Wilson's six years at the helm. Westwood's best season under Wilson came in 2007-08 (16-13).

He'll continue teaching at the school, but sought a change with a couple infant children at home.
