  Wow! The Tribune has gone all-out with their shining endorsements of athletes and coaches. Which would be fine if they didn't favor sports over academics.

  I searched and could not find one article endorsing a math teacher, or a physics professor, or the Academic Decathalon or any of the like.

  This mindset is nationally pervading, and is at least partially responsible for America's poor standing when compared to other industrialized nations.
