Chandler quarterback Darell Garretson threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, Friday, leading the Wolves to a 53-0 shutout of host-Maryvale.
Led by Garretson, Chandler jumped out to a 37-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Running back Jackson Caldwell got things started with a 38-yard touchdown run to start the scoring streak, before Garretson tossed a 20-yard scoring strike to Darrol Williams.
Garretson then rushed for a 10-yard score, the Wolves recovered a safety, Paul Perkins scored on a 4-yard run and Garretson threw his second touchdown of the quarter (third overall) to Lloyd Mills to give Chandler a 37 point advantage.
The Wolves will return home to play Mesquite Sept. 9 in the schoo's first real test of the season.

Poston Butte 55, Tempe 7: Poston Butte quarterback Dean Martino had three rushing touchdowns as the Broncos dismantled Tempe. Poston Butte scored 49 of its 55 points in the first half. They will hit the road to take on Higley next Friday. The Buffalos will host Saguaro.
Williams Field 55, Campo Verde 0: The Blackhawks will host Campo Verde next week while the Coyotes will look to get back on track at home verses Canyon State.
