Corona del Sol defensive tackle Todd Peat announced on Wednesday morning that he will play football next year at Nebraska.

The four-star prospect had narrowed his choices down to Arizona State, Oregon State and the Cornhuskers, and made his decision public from Johnson Elementary School in Mesa.

It’s another blow to Arizona State, which couldn’t corral very many of the top recruits from the state.

Peat’s younger brother, Andrus, will be one of the most sought after offensive line recruits in the country next year, and this could be a leg up for Nebraska in his recruitment.
