Outlook: The Trojans walk into this game completely clueless about what kind of team Empire, a new school in Tucson, is or what the Ravens do.

But that’s really okay with coach Bill Morgan, who is more interested in seeing improvement from his team.

The Trojans’ offense moved the ball at will in last week’s 49-6 win over Sedona Red Rock. Two Trojans backs rushed for more than 100 yards in the win. Troy Roffi had 107 yards and three touchdowns and Tyler Gaab was right behind with 105 yards and a score. Look for more of the same this week, as Valley Christian continues to establish its identity on offense.

The Trojans will be without the services of junior free safety Austin Foley, who has a torn ACL and will be out the rest of the season. His absence meant quarterback Rob Brown had to move to the safety spot against Sedona. The move worked out well as Brown had a 63-yard interception return for a touchdown. Also, two-way lineman Stanley Thepkaisone will be out four to six weeks after undergoing hernia surgery.

Address: 6400 W. Galveston St., Chandler

Records: Empire 0-1, Valley Christian 1-0
