Address: 2902 E. Shea Blvd., Phoenix Records: Dobson 2-2; Shadow Mountain
0-4
Outlook: Dobson has a good shot of resting a game above .500 heading into region play next week in this matchup with the struggling Matadors.
Dobson has a potent running game with Marcus Richmond and Scott Kneisel, who have combined for 1,000 yards in four games. Richmond has done much of the damage with 754 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Mustangs still must be
tougher physically on defense.
They surrendered yards and points much too easily to Glendale Mountain
Ridge last week. They will face several teams the caliber of Mountain Ridge or better the last five games.
Shadow Mountain is currently 25th out of 28 5A-II teams. The Matadors have lost to Phoenix Central, Tucson Sunnyside, Peoria Sunrise Mountain and Yuma. Only Central would be in the playoffs (5A-II) if they started today.
