I’m wondering why nothing was written about the ridiculous decision to disqualify a number of athletes from this meet because the logo on their swim caps was a 1/4 of an inch too big. Why are the officials concerned with ridiculous rules that give the swimmers no competitive advantage whatsoever. These meets are supposed to be about the kids not about the size of the TYR logo on their caps. The AIA needs to evaluate the reasons that they have stupid rules like this in place. The swimmers affected today worked their butts off all year, performed well, and had that taken away from them. The meet officials should be ashamed of themselves.
