Tony Piazza went 2-for-2 with two RBIs to lead Scottsdale Notre Dame past visiting Scottsdale Chaparral 8-3 in a matchup of the top-ranked baseball teams in 4A-I and 4A-II Friday.

Angelo Wright had two hits and two RBIs and Kyle Conroy had seven strikeouts in five innings to get the win for the 4A-II Saints. Royce Bolinger hit a two-run homer and Trey Ford and Danny Coulombe added two hits apiece for the 4A-I Firebirds.
