Outlook: Red Mountain is in the midst of the toughest portion of its schedule with Chandler last week, the Mustangs tonight and Mesa and Mountain View the next two weeks.

Red Mountain must get some consistency and scoring from its offense tonight and the next two weeks. The Mountain Lions committed four turnovers last week and two occurred in the red zone late in the game when they had a chance to tie the Wolves and at least force overtime.

Dobson is vastly improved on defense and up front on offense. The Mustangs have moved the ball very well while amassing a fourgame winning streak. Red Mountain, however, will be the best defensive team the Mustangs have seen since Basha on Sept. 1.

Running back Scott Kneisel has been a model of consistency the last four games, averaging 109 yards per game after netting a season-low 24 vs. Basha. The Mustangs like to run, but on occasion have been able to connect on some long pass plays from quarterback Cody Lewis to wide out Eric Henkel.

Address: 7301 E. Brown Road, Mesa

Records: Dobson 4-1; Red Mountain 3-2

Last year’s meeting: Red Mountain 38, Dobson 18
