Outlook: Calling this game crucial to Pinnacle is an understatement.
Prior to the season, this looked like a break in the schedule for Pinnacle. After all, Willow Canyon is in only its second season of varsity ball. Yet, the way Pinnacle has struggled, the Pioneers better be focused tonight to snag a victory.
The one thing Pinnacle has going is its tough schedule to date has left it just one spot out of the playoffs in the 4A-I power-point rankings. That means if the Pioneers can win tonight and next week and then stay afloat in Desert Sky Region play, they could find the postseason.
