Outlook: Mountain View coach Tom Joseph says Sunnyside is the best defensive team his Toros have faced this season.

The Blue Devils dropped a 14-7 decision to Tucson Sabino last week, but also handed Basha its only loss and shut down Mountain Ridge and Shadow Mountain to open the year. They’ve allowed just 20 points in four games.

Mountain View takes a threegame winning streak into the contest and hopes to control Sunnyside as it did a year ago in Tucson. That will mean stopping a running back that is averaging more than 200 yards per game on the ground.

Address: 2700 E. Brown Road, Mesa

Records: Sunnyside 3-1; Mountain View 3-1

Last year’s meeting: Mountain View 42, Sunnyside 14
