Cactus football’s dominance keeps rolling as the Arizona Football Coaches Association named six players to its 4A-II All-State football team.
Larry Fetkenhier and Brian Belles also earned coach and assistant coach of the year honors, respectively.
Running back Allan Woods and quarterback Brody Ray were both awarded spots on the honorary squad, as well as offensive lineman Patrick Blanner and Ryan Nowicki. That unit combined to average nearly 44 points per game, with Woods scoring 37 touchdowns and rushing for 2,661 yards.
Liberty had three players named to the team, including senior Keegan Whipkey and Centennial landed four players on the AzFCA 5A-II team, including senior tailback Anthony Hughes.
