Outlook:
Dobson’s success this season has rested with the ability of the Mustangs to free running back Marcus Richmond. That worked pretty well the first seven weeks of the season, but Richmond has been neutralized the past two weeks and so has the Mustangs’ offense. Dobson has scored just 12 points the last two games.
Mountain View’s defense was tough last week, particularly in the first half when field position put the Toros in a bind. The offense came through with a couple of long drives and a big play to turn back Mesa and start momentum heading the Toros’ way with postseason beginning next week.
