• Stephen Viramontes’ conclusion: “If the president is serious about his support for more domestic oil and gas development, it’s time that his policies actually try to accomplish those stated goals.” But, President Obama is not serious about supporting more domestic oil and gas development. By blocking new potential oil production in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge’s 1.5 million-acre coastal plain in Alaska – and by denying a permit for TransCanada to build the billion-dollar Keystone XL oil pipeline – Obama’s goal is to transfer more and more of the wealth out of this country through buying OPEC oil. Our most pressing need as a nation is to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and the best way to do that is to fill the Keystone XL oil pipeline – and shipment of the rapid increased American oil production in North Dakota.

• Today drones can be as small as a hummingbird and larger than a jet liner. Drone technology has been in the making since the Vietnam War. Today dozens of government agencies are authorized to use drones in the United States, outfitted with everything from cameras to infrared technology to weapons on the larger ones. But, discriminatory targeting of Americans? Using drones against American citizens has never been done but it would be considered in an extraordinary circumstance. Sen. Rand Paul’s historic 13-hour filibuster, in Congress last March, on the subject of drone attacks got everybody's attention. Paul said, "It's frightening that the U.S. would consider a strike against its own citizens on American soil." Paul said such an action would violate the Constitution.

• Good point Slabside…… Concerning Arizona Willie’s personal desire for a right wing group to be caught cheating by the IRS. The Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative groups is now a criminal investigation. And so far, there has not been any cheating (on any of the conservative groups applications) reported by the IRS. Were their applications too vague? Members of Congress want to know why they weren't told earlier about the IRS targeting conservative groups. But, IRS officials, of Obama Administration's IRS, continue to only offer excuses for their unconstitutional screening abuse.

• President Obama took the IRS scandal head on by announcing that acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller would resign. In investigating the draconian actions of the Obama Administration's IRS, Miller is scheduled to appear before the House Ways and Means Committee Friday. It is just the beginning of a long and steady stream of congressional investigations; the IRS targeting conservative groups, the Sept. 11 Benghazi attack, and the Justice Department's seizing of Associated Press phone records.

• Arizona Willie posted question: “Did they catch a right wing group cheating?” No cheating found by IRS. But, after the resignation of acting Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Steven Miller (in connection with the inappropriate targeting of conservative political groups) . . . the IRS did say that the reason why IRS employees started targeting conservative groups was, that some IRS employees had noticed applications from tea party groups, had presented concerns that they were too political to qualify as a social welfare group. And that the intentional targeting of conservative groups is still ongoing – and conservatives of citizen-led groups are still tied up with onerous IRS inquiries. President Obama and his top aides were aware of the targeting – and now Americans are demanding the IRS end its unconstitutional abuse.

Obama Administration's IRS targeting and scrutinizing tax-exempt status of conservative groups, with titles such as “tea party” or “patriot” in their names, was widespread and unconstitutionally invasive demands of citizen-led groups. Defensive over IRS – President Obama said, “I will not tolerate it, and we will find out exactly what happened.” This, and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department investigation of the draconian actions of Obama Administration's IRS, is typical Liberal Democrat cover-up.
