On Sunday, the popular PBS restaurant review show, “Check, Please! Arizona,” hosts its first food festival at CityScape in Phoenix. Willie and his sister, Wynona, are 3-month-old gray tabbies rescued from a foreclosed house. These sweet kitties are very playful, healthy and affectionate. They love other cats and humans. The duo start their purr machines before you even start to pet them. They love to curl around your neck at night (especially Willie) until you fall asleep.

Chandler’s Willis Junior High School will host an open house 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 15. During the event, the community can learn about the academic programs on campus, including a new blended learning program, see student work, hear musical performances and learn how Willis is making a difference in our community.
