Varsity Xtra’s popular website will be back to its old self in the near future — only better.

Some temporary changes are coming to the VarsityXtra website this week.

1013 Communications will be undergoing a network transition this weekend. This means the server hosting Varsity Xtra content (as well as East Valley Tribune blogs) will experience a planned outage from 8 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday. Most (if not all) Varsity Xtra content on the website will not be available during that time.

Varsity Xtra is expanding its coverage area to include the entire East Valley again, and we will be launching a new feature called "VX Live" on Friday nights.
