The 19-year-old country and pop sensation went a long way toward doing just that by winning video of the year and female video of the year for "Love Story" and by performing with one of her favorite rock bands.

Among her many firsts: The singer-songwriter is the first artist to have two top-10-selling albums in the same year (her “Fearless” was the No. 3 album of 2008, while “Taylor Swift” was No. 6) and the first female artist to produce five top-10 hits (such as “Picture to Burn” and “Should’ve Said No”) on a debut CD. Now, the Pennsylvania native has embarked on her first headlining tour with opening acts Kellie Pickler and Gloriana.
