It took a SWAT team, but a 26-year-old Mesa man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence.
SWAT officers swarmed a Gilbert home Sunday after a man, possibly armed with a gun, threatened two of his family members.
They operate special weapons, negotiate hostage situations and use explosives. They shoot with precision and are one of the most highly-trained units at the sheriff’s office.
