This kind man witnessed the incident, helped get my son and his bike get out of the roadway, and stayed with him until police and paramedics arrived. He also provided a description of the vehicle that hit my son; a white SUV driven by an older woman that never stopped. Thankfully, my son was not seriously injured, but he was knocked down and his left elbow was broken by the impact. The break required surgery to have pins inserted to stabilize the bone.
