NEW YORK (AP) — The London Olympics may well be remembered as the event that drove home the power of social media — partly to the chagrin but mostly to the benefit of NBC, which controlled images of the games in the United States.
I had no idea that the bribe was going down.
NEW YORK — As a new wave of big names enter the growing field of Web series, leave it to Larry David to keep enthusiasm in check.
Today is day six of my latest effort to lead a better life. It is going pretty well.

All of a sudden we seem to be getting a lot of movies and television shows centered around Snow White. Ginnifer Goodwin currently plays the fairytale princess on the ABC drama, “Once Upon a Time.” Later this summer, Kristen Stewart will take on the role in “Snow White and the Huntsman.” Last weekend brought us “Mirror Mirror,” a comedic take on the Snow White legend. Judging from the ad campaign, “Mirror Mirror” looked like it had the potential to be a light fantasy adventure along the lines of “The Princess Bride” or “Stardust.” Unfortunately, it’s more like the poor man’s “Ella Enchanted.”

I love watching “Seinfeld!” I can watch the same episode numerous times and never get tired of it. I especially like how they develop certain characters and phrases. One of my favorite phrases is “one of those guys” who do or say certain things that brand them as different from George and Jerry, such as a guy who can walk right up to a complete strange girl and ask her out. George and Jerry could never do that because they were not “one of those guys.”
NEW YORK -- The pressure was on. The tension was thick. And then, there were yawns in between.
Though self-consciously set in the bicoastal Hollywood axis of New York-Los Angeles, "Friends With Benefits" more properly takes place amid the movie world of romantic comedies.
When the gang on "Glee" breaks into a dance number, check out Heather Morris. She's the real deal.
It is often said that, regardless of time or situation, simply smiling will improve one’s mood.
I saw a Seinfeld episode recently where Jerry was talking about guys using their best lines trying to pick up women. Some are moderately successful and inventive, but then you have guys who drive by and honk the horn. "Clearly this man is out of ideas." It got me thinking of how many small business people are great at what they do, but are out of ideas when it comes to growing their business.
