Scottsdale will seek input from residents this spring about whether the city should enact tougher laws to restrict the use of motorized scooters.
The rules just got tougher for scooter riders in Chandler. The City Council voted unanimously Thursday to tighten restrictions on socalled motorized play vehicles, including setting the minimum age for riders at 13, cutting off scooter use at 8 p.m. and requiring full-face motorcyclestyle helmets for riders under 18.
