Spooktacular Halloween on the Salt River

Workers at tube-rental headquarters dress in costume and hand out free passes to tubers with the best costumes. 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Last tube rental is at 3:30 p.m. Salt River Tubing & Recreation, on Power Road 15 miles north of U.S. 60, northeast of Mesa. $15 per person, includes tube rental and shuttle service.
