Three Phoenix Public Library locations offer one-on-one assistance with resume writing, searching and applying for jobs online, and interviewing techniques at scheduled times each week. These locations are: Acacia Library, 750 E. Townley; Ocotillo Library & Workforce Literacy Center, 102 W. Southern Ave.; and Palo Verde Library, 4402 N. 51st Ave.
Staff at all four of Chandler’s public libraries will undergo training Oct. 8 and the facilities will be closed. They will reopen Oct. 9 for regular hours. Patrons can still drop off materials at outside book deposits.

An adult education program will be noon Saturday at Basha Public Library, 5990 S. Val Vista Drive, and includes adults who want to practice and improve their English speaking and listening skills, and learn American culture. The program is free. Information: (480) 782-2810.
