“If you’re a conservative and stop to rescue victims in a car accident like Mitt Romney’s son did, you’re mocked and ridiculed by those on the left. If you’re a liberal and kill someone with your car, then run away, you’re elected senator of Massachusetts like Ted Kennedy!”
What exactly is an “inadequate” health insurance policy? It turns out that the answer to a seemingly innocuous question is key to our health care future, to what happens when Obamacare goes down.
“Biden, Kerry and Obama had it right in 2006. It would be foolish to invoke the nuclear option in the Senate. I guess Obama’s greed for power has overtaken his intelligence. That’s okay, everyone now should know his true goal is to be king, not president. History will remove the upper case and remember him as ‘president.’”
Being critical of President Obama’s push for a peaceful end to Iran’s Nuclear ambitions is plain ignorant. Our President does not want war. He is giving peace a chance rather than military strikes and another war. If it does not work and Iran fails to abide by the peaceful treaty, we can then act. I do think, however, if Israel feels any type of threat from Iran, they will act anyway and we may not have any say in the conflict.
“Reid and Obama just guaranteed another shut down by invoking the nuclear option. Only this one may be longer and nastier than any in history. Hold on to your hats, the man that claimed he would unite America has driven a stake in any hope of that goal.”
Is it possible that Kerry and Obama are so naïve about negotiating with Iran that they really think that they have pulled off something wonderful with the Islamics? Have neither of them heard about tawriya, an Islamic doctrine that allows lying in virtually all circumstances where the Islamic wishes to keep their true intentions secret from Infidels (nonbelievers)?
President Obama will get a break from “Obamacare” when he pardons the traditional Thanksgiving turkey. Each of us can also set aside our cares by pardoning a turkey and choosing a nonviolent Thanksgiving observance — one that gives thanks for our good fortune, health, and happiness with a life-affirming, cruelty-free feast of vegetables, fruits, and grains.
“Rod is up to his old tricks, only telling half the story. But he admitted he didn’t know anything about the fair tax so he looked it up. No doubt on one of his extreme left leaning websites. (Hey, like the commercial says ‘it’s on the internet so it has to be true’). One of the many ‘small’ details he fails to mention is you would not pay payroll, or federal income taxes anymore. For the first time you would keep what you earn. There are many other benefits and everyone would pay their fair share. ... But wait ... where have I heard that before?”
“I wonder just how thick the lefts rose colored glasses have to be before they can finally see just how deceitful this administration is?”
While viewing George and Laura Bush being interviewed on Jay Leno last eve I was reminded, we once had Presidents and First Ladies with class. It was refreshing to recall how they represented our country around the world, with respect and dignity. Two people who can enjoy a joke and face up to negative press.
“Why do some people think that human rights and civil rights are the same thing? Everyone has human rights, just by being human. Civil rights are the rights of a person who has legal citizenship to a specific country. If you are not a citizen, then you do not have the privileges of these civil rights. Civil rights activists should be backing the rights of citizens not the illegal immigrants, who have only human rights.”
Advocates for Comprehensive Immigration Reform (English translation: amnesty) like to point out that immigrants in the past have flocked to America and made important contributions to our nation. That’s true, but the America of 1913 was different from 2013 in ways that greatly affect the probability that immigrants will become contributing citizens.
One can only suspect the reason for Obama’s delay of the ACA until 2014 is to bolster the Democrats’ chances at the polls come next November. By then they’ll be singing, “Everything’s Up To Date In Kansas City (Washington)” — whether it is or not. And of course, Dems will believe it.
Sheesh, what did they expect?
The federal government released data Wednesday showing only about 750 Arizona residents have enrolled in the online health insurance marketplace that is a key part of President Barack Obama’s health care law.
Leave the panic of the horrible Obamacare fiasco to the Dems trying to save their seats and concentrate and preparing and presenting a basic plan for insurance to the public.
The group of Congressmen who are grilling Secretary Sebelius are pushing an agenda that is a little hard to follow. The issue is that some citizens are going to lose their existing health insurance as a result of the Affordable Care Act. In a left-handed way this is correct. The ACA offers policies which have more coverage at lower cost and, accordingly, many insurance companies are canceling policies which have become overpriced and are non-competitive ever since ACA was rolled out. The decisions to cancel certain overpriced policies were made by the insurance companies because it made economic sense. There is little future in offering policies which are not competitive because they have less coverage at higher cost.
I’ve been watching the fight over the Affordable Care Act and how some are stopping at nothing to shut it down before giving it a chance to work.
Dear American citizens:
“Buy this stock. Based upon conservative talk radio in northern California where they are peeing in their pants over Obamacare, I recommend buying the company that manufactures ‘Depends.’”
“Do we have an absentee President who’s abdicated his responsibilities or one who does not care?”
John McCain is still seething about the government shutdown and those darn conservative upstarts who caused it. For no good reason, the lives of thousands were interrupted in “real and painful” ways.
Either the American People can believe that Barack Hussein Obama is stupid (Occidental College, Columbia University, Harvard University, past President of the Harvard Law Review, former Visiting Law and Government Fellow University of Chicago, author of four books, former Illinois State Senator, former U.S. Senator and twice elected to be the President of the United States of America) or that he is a liar.
“No need to be sad Sen. McCain. People still remember your running for president and the elevator you had installed for your car. Also in the ready room of every US Military airbase I’m sure there is a poster of you in your flight suit with the inscription — ‘hey blank-blank these things are expensive, Don’t McCain your plane!’ ”
“How ironic that the same Democrats that chastised the Republicans for demanding changes to Obamacare are now demanding changes to Obamacare!”
