    The father of demoted Arizona State quarterback Sam Keller on Monday downplayed a report that his son is transferring to Nebraska, adding that a return to the Sun Devils remains an option. The Lincoln (Neb.) Journal-Star, citing unnamed sources, reported that Cornhuskers offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jay Norvell phoned the team’s quarterbacks to inform them of the coaching staff’s intent for Keller to join the team.
