I find the opposition to Obamacare a gross, contradictory, and hypocritical position held by certain elected officials who represent the citizens of this great country.

On Sept. 11, 2006, Darla Gooden’s world changed forever when her son revealed that he had been sexually abused by a youth leader from their church. A few days later, her younger son told her that he had been sexually abused by the same man, who is now in prison.
No business owner wants to hear that a government agency is coming to inspect their workplace — whether it’s the USDA, the EPA or the IRS. But if there was a government agency that could help save money, improve productivity and increase employee morale — free of charge — businesses just might be interested.
The letter from Don Smith (April 8) is yet another attack on hapless Tribune contributor Jon Beydler, who could do no better than pose a lame analogy comparing auto insurance to a mandate for health insurance. Smith dismisses Beydler’s analogy as “quite foolish.”
Our View: Most of the time, churches and other places of worship are blessings to neighborhoods. They serve as social centers, sources of bountiful generosity and anchors for community bonding. Of course, churches are so central to the spiritual fabrics of American society that they receive special protection from government interference under the First Amendment and various federal laws.
The organizers behind this year's Proposition 105 have a easy message - they want to stop special interest groups from using the ballot box to take more of your money unless a true majority of Arizonans agree it's a good idea. Unfortunately, they have drafted a constitutional amendment that's designed to trick you into giving up some of your rights as a voter.
For middle and high school students with behavior problems, alternative education options are few in the Fountain Hills Unified School District.
