A chapter in one of the most unusual spiritual journeys ended in, of all places, a Supercuts.
This undated image released by Thirty Tigers shows Hassidic raggae musician Matisyahu. The 33-year-old Matisyahu is far from the one who lived for years in a modest apartment in Crown Heights, the Orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn. He's moved his wife and three sons to Los Angeles, favors pastels over dark suits, ditched the yarmulke, changed his management team, and is self-releasing his music. This month, he releases his fourth studio CD, "Spark Seeker," a fresh sound produced by Kool Kojak with reggae, hip-hop and electronica layered over Middle Eastern instruments and rhythms. We've had zombies, demons, vampires and ghosts. Why shouldn't a dybbuk — the Judaic version of the possessing spirit — have a chance to finally shine again on the big screen?

NEW YORK - There's something to be said for consistency - go to Farm Aid and you see John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Neil Young and Dave Matthews.
INDIO, Calif. - Madonna thrilled thousands of fans at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Sunday, even as she brought a mainstream feel to the traditionally edgy event. A swollen outdoor crowd erupted in cheers after the Material Girl made her entrance inside a glittering disco ball that split in two and launched into "Hung Up" for her opening number.
As the weather in the Valley finally cools down, the concert season will remain hot, and several CDs by top-tier artists will be released in coming months.
