Only 22 minutes of football was played between Tempe and Saguaro Friday, but that was more than enough for the Buffaloes on this night.
The Saguaro football team is back to don’t-blink status.

It wasn’t hard to choose last year’s Tribune Player of the Year, as Saguaro running back D.J. Foster broke several state records, ran for 508 yards and 10 touchdowns in one game and led the Sabercats to the Division III state title.
Midway through the third quarter, Saguaro found its "on" button, and once the Sabercats pressed it, the season was over for Queen Creek.
