Traffic along eastbound Interstate 10 near Casa Grande will be restricted Wednesday and Thursday as crews fix a section of roadway that melted during a fire after last week’s fatal multivehicle collision. Arizona Department of Transportation crews will remove the damaged asphalt and repave that section of highway. Traffic will be restricted to one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. both days. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph. Drivers should be alert for construction equipment and personnel and are urged to drive safely through the work zone.

Two people were seriously injured in a one-vehicle rollover about 5:15 p.m. Sunday at westbound Interstate 10 at Elliot Road, according to an Arizona Department of Public Safety official.
