The Higley Unified School District governing board agreed Thursday to increase pay to all its teachers.

Registration is now open for community education classes in Higley Unified School District. Classes offered this season include, cartooning, aviation and model airplanes, LEGOs, fashion design and “Broadway” talent.

Registration is now open for tennis camp sponsored by Higley Unified School District's recreation department. Camp will be held during fall break, Oct. 10-14, at Higley High School, 4068 E. Pecos Road, Gilbert.

All Higley Unified School District students in grades seven through 12 are invited to college strategies night 6 p.m. Tuesday at Higley Center for Performing Arts. Approximately 16 university and community college representatives will provide information on admission requirements, the college application process, housing options, campus life and much, much more. Information on the types of financial aid available and how to apply will also be included in the presentation.
