No. 1 Mountain Pointe vs. No. 3 Hamilton
Going into the playoffs, teams like to be playing well and firing on all cylinders. Hamilton accomplished that goal with a 52-7 rout of Corona del Sol in Friday night's regular-season finale.

After Hamilton surprisingly started out the season 0-2, many people were ready to write off the Huskies. They proved all doubters wrong, rebounding to reel off five consecutive wins.
Hamilton looked like the Huskies of yester-year. Desert Ridge was, well, a bit shell-shocked.

The football team from Santa Fe High loaded up the buses and hit the road from Southern California’s Santa Fe Springs to Chandler this week, looking to kick off its 2011 season in style and possibly take a bite out of the king of all Arizona football programs: three-time defending state champion Hamilton.
Ho-hum. Another re-run.

They have spent countless hours busting chops in the locker room, getting taped in the training room, watching mile posts whiz by on bus rides, broken down film and everything else a football team does during the course of four football seasons together.
