A charity boxing event to raise money for injured police officers and firefighters took a tragic twist Friday, ending with a Phoenix cop in critical condition.
It was not an equation for coincidence. One woman. Three baby deaths. Nine months apart. There was never any doubt in the minds of detective Al Reed and his brother, detective Scott Reed, that Amy Lynn Scott killed three infants under her care in 1989.
It’s called the Valley of the Sun Bowl, but today, that title might temporarily change to the Valley of the Mud Bowl.
