We recently visited an area on the Florence-Kelvin Highway called “The Boulders.” There are huge boulders off the highway that have been there for eons. I have never seen the amount of graffiti that was spray painted on these huge rocks, there were shotgun shells everywhere, along with shot-up televisions, a deer leg and a lot of other trash. What makes these people (idiots) think we want to see their names scrawled all over the countryside? Do you think you are that important? What happened to responsible gun owners picking up their empty shells? So, your TV quits and the garbage man won’t pick it up. Hey, let’s take it out to the desert, shoot it up and leave the mess for someone else to clean up. I don’t want to see your graffiti, see parts of animals that you killed or any of your other trash. Sometimes I wish the State of Arizona would just shut down these areas to keep people from destroying it.
