    A hydrogen company based at the city of Chandler’s Innovations Incubator has been named a finalist in an environmental competition by the International Green Industry Hall of Fame. H2 Pure Power Inc. was nominated for a product that retrofits gasoline and diesel engines to provide better performance, increased fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The company was the only Arizona business nominated. The IGIHOF will honor H2 Pure Power during a May 11 conference in Fresno, Calif.

    Queen Creek’s business incubator, CQ Inc., will hold a workshop March 12 for software engineers and small business owners to understand the dynamics of doing business in today’s ever-changing world. The Hacking Innovation workshop will be led by Derek Neighbors, the co-founder of Gangplank, the collaborative workspace in downtown Chandler. He is also a partner at Integrum Technologies, a consulting services firm that helps companies build teams to compete in the new economy. The workshop is designed for software engineers, software developers, gamers and small business owners.

    Chandler's Innovations technology incubator is expanding by more than 50 percent after signing a lease that will bring the facility to about 63,000 square feet. The city signed a 12-year lease for 25,000 additional feet adjacent to the site it opened at the San Tan Tech Center, 145 S. 79th St.
