Eight condominiums damaged in a west Mesa fire that raged for nearly two hours Tuesday afternoon were not required to have sprinklers, officials said Wednesday. The blaze started about 3 p.m. at Fiesta Park Village, 839 S. Westwood near Alma School Road and Eighth Avenue.
