Our View: A proposal to compel the Arizona secretary of state to independently verify the eligibility of every presidential candidate is downright laughable, considering just how little the state has cared about this issue in the past.
Arizona's 11 Republican electors formally cast their votes Monday for Mitt Romney -- but not before three of them, including the state party chairman, said questions remain about whether Barack Obama is a natural born citizen.
An Arizona sheriff facing a lawsuit by Latinos who claim they were racially profiled by his department is trying to revive the old controversy over President Barack Obama's birth certificate.
LIMA, Ohio — The most underreported story of 2008 has to be the continuing saga of a few brave souls who are working through the courts to force President-elect Barack Obama to prove his citizenship.
Very strange how the media screamed about the amount of time it took President Bush to send FEMA and government workers and government aid to the individuals who lost their homes, etc. when the hurricane hit New Orleans. Why have we not heard a peep from the media in the past few years while the tornadoes devastated the middle of our country. Why is it that the media showed, and told, of the devastation caused to the hundreds of homes and the individuals living in the states who lost everything they owned to mother nature, but never questioned why the Obama government was not on the scene the very next day, and why the Obama government did not supply homes for those who lost their home and all their belongings in the horrific weather in the past three years?
PHOENIX — The birth certificate which Barack Obama says proves he is a U.S. citizen is a fraud, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio charged Thursday.
Whining from the Left regarding Mitt Romney’s silence to the sounds of renewed birther cries are hilarious and hypocritical. Romney is not the least bit responsible for the views of Donald Trump and would be foolish to jump into the fray of this non-issue.
It doesn't look like Barack Obama will need to get his original birth certificate to state officials to be on the presidential ballot in Arizona next year.
“Birther,” used by the media with impunity, is a derogatory slur, the equivalent of the “N” word used for another group to cast them as sub-human.
How do we get so lucky to have not one but two Sheriffs that somehow get into the National Media for all the wrong reasons. Yes folks we have Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has news conferences about the “birther issue,” his posse and his racist raids.
If it wasn’t so sad it’d be laughable.
“Since Arizona legislators can vote on laws to watch teachers’ language, what they teach and close down schools, let’s make laws for politicians that they must be 100 percent honest, moral and not waste time making stupid laws.”
METROPOLIS -- Superman, a long-time resident of this city, was reported by the Associated Press on April 29 to have renounced his United States citizenship.

I must educate Mr. Reilly about the birth certificate of President Barack Obama, born in Hawaii. First off, the tea party group as a whole, has done nothing to make America a better nation. Instead they have spent their every waking hour trying to prove something even the Supreme Court doesn’t believe and that’s the lies spread by the so-called “birthers,” about President Obama and his birth location. The SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the United States) has on at least four separate occasions declined to hear any of the non-sense about President Barack Obama. Now that to me is very telling. If the SCOTUS, which we all know is VERY conservative refuses to hear this challenge even with a member of the teaparty sitting on the bench (Clarence Thomas’ wife is a tea party member, so he must be,) then its time to stopping wasting the courts time and focus on the real challenges facing America.
If you're a Republican in this state, you ought to be embarrassed. No, not by the governor's recent finger wag - who knows what actually went on there?
“Snowbirds! Once again, you have taken over our towns, roadways, restaurants, etc. It is very hard to go anywhere without being run over, cut off, or driving as if you are still in your little farm towns... You are in the BIG town now! I cannot even take my family out to eat anywhere without having to wait forever! You have little respect for the people that live here! Your age does not give you the right to take over the roads, cut in front of me in stores and restaurants, and expect that I owe you something! Respect works both ways!”
This time four years ago, the mantra of “change” took center stage in our national political lexicon.
